Panel Necklace

Three stones stacked and accented by 3 fine silver beads. Desert Bloom Variscite and White Buffalo. Hung from an adjustable 18-20 inch sterling rolo chain. Oxidized to create a rustic hue and to enhance details.
 
Variscite is considered a cousin of Turquoise containing much of the same mineral makeup. It is found in the same regions and is often mistaken for and sometimes sold as Turquoise. 
 
White Buffalo is mined in Nevada and referred to as White Turquoise but does not containthe same chemical composition.
